Woods expands sustainable range
Reflecting its commitment to responsibly-sourced premium products, Woods Foodservice has expanded its supplier base ahead of the festive period
The Confex member has added charcuterie, smoked salmon, smoked meats, clotted cream, and regeneratively farmed flour to its portfolio to ensure its high-end customer base can easily access more sustainable produce.
“At Woods, we understand that the festive season is about indulgence and quality, but it’s also an opportunity to make meaningful choices,” said Darren Labbett, managing director, Woods Foodservice.
“By partnering with suppliers who share our values, we can support foodservice operators to deliver exceptional dining experiences while embracing sustainability over the Christmas season and beyond.”
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and culinary excellence, Woods has introduced five new suppliers, each with impressive green credentials. These are: Artisan Charcuterie, Roddas Cornish Clotted Cream, Severn & Wye, Farmhouse Cuisine by Marco Pierre White and Wild Farmed Flour.
Woods Foodservice has been carbon neutral since 2021 with an ambition to become the UK’s leading Net Zero contributor foodservice company by 2030.
